The Vaccinations & Immunisations section on the system allows you to view and add Vaccinations & Immunisations that can be marked as given to children, there are 18 of the common Vaccinations & Immunisations that are given to children in Great Britain on the system as default and these can be modified or deleted to suit your setting.

Each child on the system has an individual section where you can record the dates that they were administered each Vaccination or Immunisation.

Key Areas of the Vaccinations & Immunisations section

18 of the common Vaccinations & Immunisations in Great Britain have been added to the system.
Additional Vaccinations & Immunisations can be added to the system.
Record the date every child was administered each Vaccination or Immunisation.
If a child was vaccinated prior to starting at the setting, this can be noted along with the date they were vaccinated.

Overview

The Vaccinations & Immunisations overview page allows you to see at a glance each Vaccination & Immunisation that is currently recorded on the system, by default a selection of 18 of the most common Vaccinations & Immunisations in Great Britain have already been added to the system.

For each Vaccination & Immunisation you will see the medication name, what it protects against, the recommended age the Vaccination or Immunisation is administered to the child and if it is a required Vaccination or Immunisation.

Adding & Editing

When adding or editing a Vaccination or Immunisation you need to add the medication name, what it protects against, the recommended age the Vaccination or Immunisation is administered to the child and if it is a required Vaccination or Immunisation.

Children's Vaccinations & Immunisations

For each child on the system you will see their current administered status relating to their Vaccinations & Immunisations, the system cross references their age with the recommended ages that each Vaccination or Immunisation should be administered and indicates if they are up to date or are overdue one or more Vaccinations or Immunisations.

Recording that a child has been administered a Vaccination or Immunisation is a simple process of selecting the date they were administered and if they were administered prior to the child attending the setting a tick box can be selected.
